After you’ve checked out, you will receive an order confirmation email within an hour. It will show information about your order, including order number, purchased item(s), expected delivery time(s), total amount, payment method etc. Keep it safe in your inbox or saved for reference in the unlikely event that you have an issue later with your order or delivery.
Here are some common reasons why you may not have received a confirmation email:
Check Your Junk Folder
Check your junk and/or spam folder to see if the confirmation email has landed there by mistake. If it has, please reinstate the confirmation email to your inbox. Also if you have the option, ‘white list’ the confirmation email address so that for future purchases it will be delivered directly to your inbox.
Did You Use the Correct Email Address?
If the order confirmation isn’t in junk or spam, please check that you used the correct email address when placing your order (was there a typo?). To do that, view your personal account settings by signing into My Account on the Hiatt Hardware website. Note that it’s always important to make sure your personal and contact details are correct when shopping online.
Check Your Order was Completed
Your order may not have been processed properly at checkout. To check this, sign in to My Account on the Hiatt Hardware website and look for your order. If it’s there, you’ll be able to see your order information. If you can’t find your order then you can either place it again or contact customer support for one-to-one help.
Did You Use Guest Checkout?
If you completed your order as a guest, you will not be able to check the order details online as an account won’t have been set up. Again, at this stage it’s best to contact us for help.
