Our website checkout is designed for smooth and speedy payment, with many ways to pay and a guest checkout option. If you are experiencing difficulty making a payment, then here are a few things to consider:
Are you using the right payment method?
It might sound obvious, but check you’re using the right card and that it hasn’t expired. Check your using the correct payment method too. For example, have you selected PayPal when you actually want to make a card payment?
Are you entering the correct card details?
It’s worth double checking that you are entering the right card number, expiry date and 3-digit CVV code on the back.
Does your card need activating?
If you’re using a new card, do you need to activate it with your bank or provider? This can usually be done easily online with phone or email authentication. If in doubt, contact your card issuer.
Is there enough money in your account?
Another reason a payment might not go through is if there are insufficient funds in the account you are using to pay. Check your bank account, credit card account or other payment account (PayPal, Apple Pay etc.) to make sure there’s money available.
Did you lose internet connection?
It’s not uncommon to lose internet connection, either through a short outage or intermittent coverage, especially on mobile. This can result in a checkout page buffering, the page not loading properly or the payment being interrupted and failing.
In these cases restore a good connection, refresh the page and try again. Don’t worry, your failed payment won’t have gone through and you won’t be charged twice.
Have you chosen a different billing address?
If you chose a different billing address on the payment page, don’t forget to click UPDATE after filling in your billing details. This will allow you to SUBMIT PAYMENT.
